The Turks are very strongly influenced by Islam and conservative in Central and Eastern Anatolia (Konya, Malatya, Bingöl, etc.). This region has a long history of Islamic influence and is known for its conservative values and traditions. On the other hand, the Black Sea region (Trabzon, etc.) has a more diverse cultural and religious landscape, with a mix of Islamic and non-Islamic influences. While Islam is still an important part of the culture in the Black Sea region, it is not as strongly conservative as in Central and Eastern Anatolia. **
